No doubt it'll take me a while to get used to the concept of writing for myself and whoever may stumble across these pages, but here goes . . .but for those of you reading this elsewhere I've actually begun to blog - how frequently or how interesting hard to say today, but you'll find it at http://profile.typepad.com/gaylesam
Part of my world every day for the last ten years has been around thinking about how to put great technology offerings online by invoking my idea of the triple win. How can we bring wonderful donated offerings to nonprofits and create donation programs for corporations and combine all of that to achieve the social outcomes and mission of techsoupglobal.org?
As their newly elevated Chief Business Development Officer, but long standing Director of Business Development it's a mix that until recently I thought was uniquely held (or probably something I created) at TechSoup. More and more I think the basic premise applies to a wide array of endeavors and if applied with understanding can be useful in a rather broad and wide way. SO I'll be adding some thoughts, sharing things already written and with help of readers find ways to connect the dots so we all live a triple win.
This notion of triple winning comes together in a rather unique way in the Third Sector. It is more than just SROI, and I think is at its best when when developing partnerships with corporations. One of the reasons I love nonprofit/corporate partnerships is because the triple-win is so evident. Congrats on your promotion, long overdue
